Studio Tolvanen is the product design office of husband-and-wife team Mika & Julie Tolvanen. Projects range from small everyday objects to furniture collections, which they design from their studio and workshop on the island of Lauttasaari in Helsinki, Finland.
Mika is a Finnish designer who started his own practice after graduating from Royal College of Art in 2001.
Julie is an American designer who worked for about 10 years as a woodworker, designing and building furniture, before she moved to Finland in 2009 to get her masters degree in furniture design. Mika and Julie founded Studio Tolvanen together in 2015.

Established in 2008, Tomas Kral is a product design studio based in Lausanne in Switzerland. ( Stéphane Halmaï-Voisard - right ) Born in 1980 in Montreal, Canada, Stéphane Halmaï-Voisard graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), before studying Product Design at ECAL/University of Arts and Design Lausanne, Switzerland. In addition to his studio and consultancy work, he also teaches industrial design at ECAL, where he has been the Head of Industrial Design BA department since 2014.

His work has been exhibited and is part of the collections of the Museum für Gestaltung, Zürich; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Musée de design et d’arts appliqués contemporains (MUDAC), Lausanne; and the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ), Québec.

Yun Li is a Paris-based Taiwanese industrial designer. He graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (Ensci-Les Ateliers) with honor in 2014. For his diploma project, supervised by British designer Jasper Morrison, he attempted to refine, both visually and technically, one of the world's most visible and mass-produced chairs. Ever since, he is interested in finding a better balance between quality and cost that a product could have.

In 2012, he followed an internship at BIG-GAME in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 2013, he exhibited at SaloneSatellite. From 2014 to 2017, he worked for Studio Pauline Deltour in Paris. Since 2017, he joins design studio Unknown-Untitled in Paris.
